Compared to the standard TP5, the TP5x hits further and spins less, making it the ideal choice for more aggressive golfers. Of the two balls the TP5x also offers the fastest ball speed - so choose this ball if you're hoping to hit some fast shots. This is partially due to the Speed Wrapped Core, which is engineered for speed (as the name suggests).
The TaylorMade TP5x's 5-layer construction makes it super durable. Compared to other TP5 balls, the TP5x has a pretty firm feel, which experienced golfers may prefer. However, it is still considered a "soft" golf ball. Compared to the TP5, this ball also offers higher launch flight, perfect if you are trying to hit shots that go the distance.
