All the benefits of the most popular ball in golf, with a twist — discover Titleist Pro V1 High Number golf balls!
Pro V1 High Number golf balls have all the great features of regular Pro V1 golf balls, like a high-flex casing layer to produce incredible speeds and a low long-game spin. These balls also offer a spherically-tiled 388 tetrahedral dimple pattern for a penetrating flight, with a soft cast urethane elastonmer cover to boost control. However, you'll notice one key difference — these Pro V1 golf balls have higher numbers on them.
Is your lucky number 5, 6, 7, or 8? Are you hoping to distinguish your Pro V1s from the set your friends all use? Then you may prefer Titleist's Pro V1 High Number golf balls. You'll still get the same great spin, speed, and feel of a Titleist Pro V1, but with a more unique look. If you're hosting a game for more than 4 golfers and you'd like to be able to tell which ball belongs to whom, then adding these high numbers to your collection can make a huge difference.
Titleist Pro V1 High Number Features:
- Numbered 5, 6, 7, and 8.
- Spherically-tiled 388 tetrahedral dimple design.
- Soft cast urethane elastomer cover.
- Faster high-gradient core.
- Soft feel.
2025 Titleist Pro V1 High Numbers vs Pro V1x High Numbers
It's true! As well as Pro V1 high number golf balls, we have Titleist Pro V1x high number golf balls. Both are great golf balls that can help you score lower in your next game. But which Titliest ball is the best golf ball for you?
There are a few key differences between these two golf balls. Pro V1 high number golf balls have a lower and more penetrating flight than V1xs, with a much softer feel. If you're looking for mid-trajectory flight, low long-game spin and a good short game spin, then these Pro V1 golf balls are probably a better choice for you!
Creating the 2025 Titleist Pro V1
In this video, three of Titleist's top brains – Research & Development VP Mike Madson, Golf Ball Product Management Director Frederick Waddell and Golf Ball Marketing & Sales SVP Jeremy Stone – discuss the process that led to the creation of the 2025 Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x.
Almost immediately after the 2023 Pro V1 and Pro V1x were launched, Titleist began talking to golfers and asking what further improvements they could make for the 2025 edition. The #1 request: additional spin in short irons and around the green.
This feedback fed Titleist's R&D process. The company's engineers looked carefully at every aspect of the golf ball to find opportunities for optimisation, and as a result, the new-generation Pro V1 and Pro V1x are better than ever before!
