Different golfers have different opinions about what the 'best' golf ball is, but if you're looking for an objective answer, the Titleist Pro V1 is probably your best bet.
As you can see on the box in the above photo, the Pro V1 is marketed as the 'number 1 ball in golf' – and Titleist wouldn't be allowed to make that bold claim if it weren't somewhat justifiable. The Pro V1 is the single most popular ball among professional golfers, and in 2026, two of the four major golf tournaments were won with Titleist Pro V1 balls.
Of course, a ball with that pedigree isn't going to come cheap. The Pro V1 is one of the more expensive golf balls we stock here at gimmeballs – but on the plus side, customisation is included in the price.
