White golf balls with gift messages ('Happy Father's Day', 'Merry Christmas' and 'Happy Birthday') printed on them

If you're looking to buy golf balls as a gift for somebody else, the first thing you should do is find out whether that person already has a favourite make of ball. If your golf-loving friend or relative swears by Srixon Z-Stars, for example, they're unlikely to switch to Q-Stars just because you gave them some for Christmas. So ask before you buy – or if you're concerned about spoiling the surprise, ask one of their golf mates instead.

Once you know what type of golf ball your giftee tends to use, it's a pretty safe bet that you'll be able to find their preferred model on the gimmeballs website (browse here). Then you can make use of our custom golf ball printing service and add a personalised message or design to the balls. The result: a unique gift that will actually see some play!

But OK – what if 'buy the balls they already like' isn't a viable option? Maybe your loved one is still relatively new to the game and hasn't yet settled on 'their' ball. Or perhaps you've simply got no way to discover what their favourite ball is, and you need to make an educated guess. We can help with that.

Pick the option that best describes you:

I want the best golf ball money can buy.

Different golfers have different opinions about what the 'best' golf ball is, but if you're looking for an objective answer, the Titleist Pro V1 is probably your best bet.

As you can see on the box in the above photo, the Pro V1 is marketed as the 'number 1 ball in golf' – and Titleist wouldn't be allowed to make that bold claim if it weren't somewhat justifiable. The Pro V1 is the single most popular ball among professional golfers, and in 2026, two of the four major golf tournaments were won with Titleist Pro V1 balls.

Of course, a ball with that pedigree isn't going to come cheap. The Pro V1 is one of the more expensive golf balls we stock here at gimmeballs – but on the plus side, customisation is included in the price.

Did you know? We offer custom number Pro V1 golf balls featuring the number of your choice from 00 to 99. So in addition to adding a custom-printed gift message, you can further personalise the balls by including your giftee's lucky number!

I'm on a tight budget and need something cheap.

The cheapest balls we offer are our own X1Bird golf balls. At time of writing, you can buy a dozen X1Birds for just £12 (or £18 if you want to personalise them).

I want a golf ball that's totally blank.

Most golf balls have stuff printed on them (e.g. the manufacturer's logo, perhaps an alignment line to help with putting) even before you add your own custom-printed elements. But we do have some completely blank golf balls if you want your personalised design to be the only thing on the ball.

Our blank golf balls are available in the following quantities:

Single Ball    Sleeve of 3 Balls    Bag of 6 Balls   Bag of 12 Balls

I want to print TWO custom designs on each ball.

Want to add more than one custom print to your chosen golf balls? Well, good news: we offer double-sided printing on a selection of different balls, including the aforementioned Callaway Supersoft and Titleist Pro V1 balls.

Click the button below to see all of the products that are currently available with double-sided printing.

The gimmeballs team at Tiny Rebel's second charity golf day, held at Raglan Golf Club on Thursday 17th September 2026

On Thursday 17th September 2026, the gimmeballs team (pictured above) took part in Tiny Rebel's second charity golf day.

The event was held at Raglan Golf Club and all proceeds were donated to Bowel Cancer UK, Britain's leading bowel cancer charity.

As much as we enjoy printing and packing golf balls, it is nice to get out on the fairway every so often and actually smack some of them around. Big thanks to Tiny Rebel for giving us a great opportunity to do just that – while simultaneously supporting an excellent charity.

About Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer UK provide much-needed support for people affected by bowel cancer, while also working to make everyone more informed about the disease and its symptoms.

In the UK alone, thousands of people die from bowel cancer every year, but the death rate has dropped significantly over the years thanks to improved screening, more effective treatment methods, and the hard work of charities like BCUK.

We're very pleased to have been able to raise funds for this worthy cause while doing what we love best: playing bang-average golf!

About the Event

The day got off to a shotgun start, with the gimmeballs team beginning on hole 14. The course was in excellent condition, and the weather very kindly stayed pleasant as we made our way from one hole to the next. Hole 12 was the party hole, complete with DJ and decks.

Being organised by Tiny Rebel, the event naturally included several opportunities to crack open a can of their craft beer (although of course it was soft drinks only for the designated drivers). We took part in some fun putting games as well as longest drive and closest-to-the-hole contests on the simulator.

All in all, it was a brilliant day and we were pleased to learn that the event had raised £3,500 for Bowel Cancer UK. Shout-out to Hayley, Tommas and the rest of the Tiny Rebel team for doing such a great job of hosting.

If you're planning to host your own charity golf day, gimmeballs can help out by providing branded golf balls and accessories. Discounts are available for bulk orders; see our Charity Golf Days page for more information.

Tournament-winning golf balls from TaylorMade, Titleist and Srixon

With the final putt holed at Royal Birkdale, all four of this year's major golf tournaments are now complete. Each championship tested the world's leading players in a different way, but every winner had one thing in common: a tour-quality golf ball that they could trust when the pressure was on.

Four champions lifted four of golf's greatest trophies in 2026. Here are the golf balls they used.

Which golf ball won the Masters Tournament?

The winning golf ball at the 2026 Masters Tournament was a TaylorMade TP5.

Reigning champion Rory McIlroy returned to Augusta National in April and successfully added another green jacket to his collection. The Northern Irish golfer once again rose to the occasion, relying on his TaylorMade TP5 throughout the tournament.

The 2026 TP5 is TaylorMade's softest five-layer Tour ball, combining a responsive feel with excellent speed. The ball's enlarged Tour core helps it to retain more energy at impact for faster full shots, while an updated Tour Flight Dimple Pattern promotes a controlled, penetrating flight. It's a strong option for golfers seeking distance without sacrificing feel and short-game performance.

Which golf ball won the PGA Championship?

The winning golf ball at the 2026 PGA Championship was a Titleist Pro V1.

England's Aaron Rai secured his first major title at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania, where the championship was contested from 14th to 17th May. Rai came from behind in the final round, overcoming a difficult opening stretch before producing an excellent finish to claim the Wanamaker Trophy by three strokes.

Marketed as the '#1 ball in golf', the Titleist Pro V1 is designed to deliver a strong blend of speed, spin and feel. Its faster high-gradient core generates ball speed while keeping long-game spin low, and the soft cast urethane cover provides the control needed on approach shots and around the green.

Which golf ball won the US Open?

The winning golf ball at the 2026 US Open was a Titleist Pro V1x.

2023 winner Wyndham Clark captured his second US Open title at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in New York last month. The American led from start to finish, although his six-shot advantage after 54 holes was tested on Sunday. Clark held his nerve to par the final hole and complete a one-stroke victory over Sam Burns.

The Titleist Pro V1x provides a higher flight and firmer feel than the Pro V1. It combines low spin through the long game with increased short-game spin, giving players great distance off the tee and dependable stopping power when attacking the green. That balance of speed and control makes the Pro V1x well suited to golfers who prefer a higher trajectory and responsive feedback.

Which golf ball won The Open?

The winning golf ball at the 2026 Open was a Srixon Z-Star XV.

New Zealand's Ryan Fox produced a spectacular finish at Royal Birkdale to become Champion Golfer of the Year. Four birdies across his final six holes, including one at the 18th, carried Fox to 10 under par and a one-shot victory over Cameron Young. He became only the second New Zealander to lift the Claret Jug, following in the footsteps of Bob Charles in 1963.

The Srixon Z-Star XV is built for golfers who want impressive driver and iron distance alongside tour-level control. Its premium three-piece construction generates high ball speed, while an extra-thin urethane cover and Spin Skin+ coating increase friction for additional spin on approaches, chips and pitches. The result is a powerful golf ball that still offers precision where it matters most.
