Just to clarify, our personalisation guidelines on the product page explain that the print area on a golf ball is limited to 2cm x 2cm, so images and photos have to be reduced to fit within that space. This ensures the best possible print quality on the curved and dimpled surface.

What you’re seeing is most likely due to the difference between a digital on-screen preview and the final printed result. Digital mock-ups are displayed at optimal resolution on illuminated screens, whereas printed output can vary slightly depending on the original image quality, scale, and the colour used. A gloss finishes can sometimes appear sharper because they reflect more light, they can also low quality image more noticeably, especially if the source image resolution is being pushed to its limits at print size. The preview you saw would not always show these subtle differences. That said, we completely understand your expectations and your comments are very helpful.
